Description
Swallowfield is a sizable mid-19th century house that faces the road with its gable end. It has a two-storey roughcast front, featuring a central section that projects slightly beneath a pedimented gable. The house is topped with a slate roof that has projecting eaves supported by paired brackets. In the center of the gable, there is an oculus. The façade includes five windows, all of which have rusticated lintels and are fitted with sashes that have thin glazing bars. The central doorway is situated beneath a Doric porch, which is adorned with a pediment and a triglyph frieze.
