Description
Montgomery Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed from snecked rubble with a slate roof and coped verges, featuring later brick stacks at the ends. The building has a symmetrical front and is two storeys high with three bays. The ground floor includes 16-pane sash windows that have stopped stone "Tudor" labels above them. The central door opening is framed by a moulded stone architrave, leading to a 20th-century panelled and glazed door. A stone Tuscan portico with an entablature and blocking course is supported by two columns at the front and flanked by two pilasters on the wall. Inside, there are coeval window shutters on the ground floor.
