Description

80 and 82 Friarn Street are a pair of attached cottages built in the early 19th century. They are constructed of painted Flemish-bond brick and feature a pantile roof with flush roof-lights. Each cottage has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys high with an attic, presenting a one-window range. The windows are 8/8-pane sashes; the first-floor windows are positioned at eaves level, while the ground-floor windows, which flank 20th-century six-panel doors, have shallow segmental gauged brick arches. No. 82, on the left, has a slightly wider facade. The interiors have not been inspected.
