Description
The walls enclosing the garden on the north side of Hatch Court date from around 1755. They are constructed of red brick in a garden wall bond, with a lias stone plinth and Ham stone flat coping. The exterior north wall features rubble facing. The walls form a parallelogram shape and are adjacent to a range of outbuildings on the south side, which connect to the stables. The exterior west wall has brick pilasters and a square-headed opening with a panelled door. There is also an arched opening on the south side that includes a wrought iron gate, providing access to the gardens on the east side of Hatch Court. Openings are present in both the north and east walls.
