Description

The bridge at Two Bridges, which carries the road over the Fivehead River, dates from the 18th century. It is constructed from lias and Ham stone and features two archways with semi-circular heads. There is a cutwater upstream between the arches, and the voussoirs are rough-hewn lias. The carriageway has low parapets made of large Ham stone blocks, and the upstream abutment walls are curving and made of lias.
