Description

Old Marsh Bridge is a footbridge dated 1772, constructed from red sandstone random rubble. It features two segmental arches made of random voussoirs and has a pointed cutwater between the arches. The parapet has hit and miss coping and is swept back at either end, though it is damaged on the north-east side. On the east front, there is a ham stone date stone that bears the name of the builders, W and G Rawle, inscribed on it.
