Description
Lower Chatley Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the late 18th century or early 19th century. It features a stucco exterior with an ashlar Doulting stone plinth and porch. The roof is covered with slate and has a pyramidal shape, wide soffits, and a central chimney stack made of ashlar Doulting stone, which includes tabling and a cornice. The building has a square, two-storey front with three windows and a central entrance. The windows are 16-pane sash types set in bead-moulded raised stone surrounds with stone cills. The entrance door, from the 20th century, is located in a projecting porch that has a flat roof and a moulded cornice.
