Description
41 Chamberlain Street is an early 19th-century house that is part of a row, forming one of a pair of similar houses. It is constructed from local stone coursed rubble and is colourwashed, topped with a clay pantiled roof that abuts to the east and continues to the west, featuring a stone chimney stack.
The exterior consists of two storeys with random fenestration. On the ground floor, there are two-light horizontal bar casement windows under timber lintels, positioned towards the ends of the building. The first floor has a window to the left and another above the central doorway, which features a boarded door set in a slightly segmental-arched opening.
The interior has not been inspected. This house is a fine example of vernacular architecture and appears to have undergone little alteration over the years.
