Description

A pair of houses located in Priest Row, Wells, dating from the earlier 19th century. The houses are constructed of local stone rubble with brick arches over the windows, and have a clay pantiled roof with brick chimney stacks. They follow a double-depth plan.

The exterior features two storeys with attics, and a single bay for each house. The windows are sash windows with 16 panes, each with a brick segmental arched head. Between the bays are the front doors, which are upper panelled and set within timber surrounds with open pediment hoods supported by brackets. Flat-roofed dormers are present, with an 8-pane sash window in No. 14 and a 2-light cross-glazed casement window in No. 12.

The interior was not inspected.
