Description

This is a pair of houses in a row, built in the early to mid-19th century in Wells. The houses are constructed from local stone rubble with a double Roman clay tiled roof and plain gables. They have brick chimney stacks at each end.

The exterior is three storeys high, with two bays per house. The windows are sash windows with timber lintels. The ground floor windows have four panes of glass, while the first and second floor windows have twelve panes each, the second-floor windows being shorter. A plain boarded door sits between the bays, protected by a timber lintel. Above the door is a recessed area with timber lintels, which was originally rendered and painted with a false window.

The interior of the houses has not been inspected.
