Description

Atkins Cottage is an 18th-century cottage that has been altered in the 20th century. It is constructed of rendered cob and features buttresses, a hipped thatched roof, and has a brick stack on the left and a stone stack on the right. The building is two storeys high and has a layout of one bay, two bays, and one bay. The windows are 20th-century casements with two and three lights, which have leaded panes and come in differing sizes. On the left-hand bay, there is a rustic thatched wooden porch, and the door is a 20th-century design that includes a mid-19th century bronze lion's head knocker.
