Description
Ford Lodge is a lodge that underwent enlargement in the early 19th century, originally dating back to the 17th century. The exterior is rendered to resemble ashlar stone, featuring a moulded plinth and quoin strips. It has a Welsh slate roof with decorated ridge tiles and brick stacks, including a large rendered stack on the rear elevation. The building is two storeys high and consists of three bays. The windows are sash style with glazing bars, and there is a round-headed doorway in the center. This doorway is framed by rusticated voussoirs and a fluted pilaster doorcase, with fluting continuing around a plain fanlight above a six-panel fielded door. The interior includes an internal porch with a leaded fanlight.
