Description
Croford House is an early 19th-century house built in Wiveliscombe Without. It is constructed of rendered brick with a hipped Welsh slate roof, deep eaves, and soffit boards, featuring brick stacks that rise from the eaves. The house has two storeys and three bays, with sash windows containing glazing bars. A 20th-century porch is located centrally, with a six-panel door. The house was built by the owner of the nearby Slape's brickworks, which has since been demolished. The farm buildings are constructed from misshapen and rejected bricks from the brickworks.
