Description
This is a chest tomb dedicated to John Towlson, dating from 1846. It is made of dressed stone and features a plain octagonal shape with a slab top that has an inscription. Surrounding the tomb is a railed enclosure, which includes railings topped with urn finials, and a larger urn finial at each corner. At the time of the last survey in April 1984, the area was much overgrown with ivy. The tomb is located in the churchyard, 5 metres to the west of the Church of the Holy Trinity.
