Description

This is a 17th-century cottage, modified subsequently. It is constructed of local stone rubble with dressings in Ham stone. The roof has double Roman clay tiles and coped gables, with brick chimney stacks at the ends. The cottage is two storeys high and has three bays. The ground floor has three-light, chamfered mullioned windows with a label above. The upper floor has two-light casement windows. A boarded door is set within a plain opening with an exposed timber lintel. The interior of the cottage has not been inspected. The building is primarily listed for its contribution to the group value within the setting of the Manor House.
