Description

This former canal bridge, located northeast of Lower Farmhouse, was built around 1835-1841 on the Chard Canal. It is constructed from dressed stone lias with ham stone coping. The bridge features a single elliptical arch, a projecting stone stringcourse above, and parapets that sweep out over the abutments.
