Description

A farmhouse, now a dwelling, likely dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the early 19th century and late 20th century. The exterior is rendered, possibly over rubble, with a painted brick return wall. It has a bell-cast concrete tile roof with overhanging eaves and brick stacks at the left gable end. One stack is set back from the end of the right gable and another was rebuilt to the right of the cross passage. The original layout comprised three rooms and a cross passage, with a 20th-century lean-to addition to the right and a 19th-century addition to the left. The two-storey front has three bays, featuring 16-pane sash windows on the first floor, one to the left of a gabled 20th-century porch. A 6-panel door has inserted lights, and there are two 20th-century casement windows to the right. The left gable end has a single-storey hipped roof addition made of slobbered rubble with a single, many-paned window and garage doors.
