Description

This outbuilding, located about 10 meters west of The Old Rectory, is likely a former coal house and store dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed from local stone random rubble and features a mono-pitch slate roof, with a weatherboarded east front that faces The Old Rectory. The building has a low three-bay range that backs onto the road and serves as a boundary wall. It is a single-storey structure with a rear wall that continues as a high parapet. The outbuilding includes three stable doors and two leaded windows on the rear elevation that faces the road. It is listed mainly for its group value with The Old Rectory and because the high wall along the road significantly contributes to the streetscape.
