Description

The former coach house and wall at right angles to the rear of The Corner House is a building that dates from the 17th to 18th century. It is constructed from coursed and squared rubble with a thatched roof and a brick stack. The building is rectangular in shape and consists of a single storey. The road frontage features a blank wall, with paired plank doors on the left that lead to a throughway. There is a blocked door opening in the center with a wooden lintel. An attached section of wall borders the roadside. Inside, there is an early collar-beam roof. This building is included in the listing primarily for its group value.
