House in row. Late C18, but incorporating substantial C15 and especially late C16 remains. Rendered and colourwashed over rubble, with painted ashlar dressings, Welsh slate roof between abutments, stone chimney stack. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys, 3 bays. Plinth, cornice, plain parapets, outer windows are shallow canted full-height bays, with composite sash windows of 8+12+8 panes, the windows to upper bay 2 a 12-pane sash. Central doorway with 5-panel door under 3-pane rectangular-fanlight set in stone surround of doric pilasters, full entablature and pediments, footscraper to right. INTERIOR: includes to the rear an exposed stone wall with C16 fireplace with wide 4-centred arch, and a 3-light casement with C15 moulded stone mullions, possibly imported; there are 2 deep ceiling beams to chamfered stops. To the left of the fireplace is a small square salt cupboard. A rear passage has a 2-light casement and an external 3-plank ledged door. At the first floor is a further fireplace with 4-centred arch, and, to its left a blocked 3-light casement with flush chamfered mullions, and at the second floor an early 2-light casement. The roof part inspected, includes butt purlins. The basement has 2 moulded beams.
