Description
Flint House is a country house built in the early 19th century. It features ashlar stonework, a moulded cornice, a parapet with coping, coped verges, and ashlar stacks, all topped with an asbestos slate roof in a Regency style. The house is two stories high with a frontage that has a 2:1:2 bay arrangement, where the central bay is highlighted by pilasters. The first floor has sash windows with glazing bars and marginal lights, while the ground floor has French windows in a matching style, along with a central six-panelled door, a fanlight, and sidelights. To the left, there is a later two-story, three-bay addition with sash windows and casements. A glass-roofed verandah supported by wrought-iron extends along the ground floor. The property is bounded by a length of ashlar wall that slopes down in four sections, and features cross-gabled gate piers with quadrant walls at the entrance to the driveway.
