Description
Rush Ash Farmhouse is a farmhouse that has been converted into a house. It features an oval freestone plaque at the center of the first floor with raised lettering that reads "F.I.M 1754." The building is constructed of ashlar stone with rusticated quoins and has a weathered string course above the first-floor windows. The coped verges have been renewed in concrete, and the roof is covered with concrete tiles, supported by end brick stacks. The farmhouse is two storeys high with a symmetrical two-bay frontage. It has moulded three-light stone-mullioned windows, and there is a single blank window in the center of the first floor, which has an emphasised keystone. A 20th-century gabled porch and door complete the entrance.
