Description

The Cozens monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, approximately 8 meters south-east of the chancel of the Church of St Peter. It dates from the early 19th century and is made of Ham stone. The tomb features a ledger top, a moulded plinth, and a cornice, all set on a base. The pilaster strips are divided vertically into three raised panels. The north side of the tomb is inscribed with the name Cozens and the date of death, 1808. There is some damage on the south corner of the top.
