Description

The Tempietto, located about 180 meters west-south-west of Wadeford House, is a garden building dating from the 18th to 19th century. It is constructed of ashlar red sandstone set on a random rubble plinth and has a circular plan. The structure features six columns that support a moulded entablature. At the time of the survey in November 1985, it was noted to be in poor condition. This building serves as an attractive landscape feature, positioned on the hilltop facing Wadeford House to the east.
