Description
Cole Farm House is a farmhouse dating to 1766. It is constructed of local stone rubble with ashlar dressings and has a Welsh slate roof with coped gables, a hipped extension to the west gable, and brick end chimney stacks. The building is two storeys with an attic, and originally comprised five bays. It features two-light windows with central stone mullions and plain beaded surrounds, some with iron casement windows and external stays. A central boarded door is set within a stone surround featuring plain pilasters and a shallow moulded anse-de-panier door hood. There is a flat-roofed central dormer window. A one-bay wide extension to the south gable has matching windows. A plaque bearing the date 1766 is set under the eaves. The interior remains unrecorded.
