Description
Wyke House is a detached house built in the late 18th century. It is constructed from local stone that is cut and squared, featuring a facade of Doulting stone ashlar. The roof is made of Welsh slate and has coped gables, with end stone chimney stacks that have moulded caps. The house is two storeys high with attics and consists of three bays. It has 12-pane sash windows set in architraved surrounds, with paired windows in the outer bays. The central entrance features a six-panel door located in a semi-circular arched recess, which is topped by a radial glazed fanlight. The stone doorcase is adorned with flat Doric pilasters and an open pediment hood. There is a lean-to structure at the rear of the house. The interior has not been seen.
