Description
Cole Manor is a former mill with a house, dating to the 17th century and later. It is constructed of local stone rubble with dressings of Doulting stone; the roof is covered with stone slate, with some plain tiles. The roof has a hipped corner on the northeast side, a coped west gable, and a plain south gable. The building is in an "L" shape with a two-story, two-bay east elevation. The ground floor features plain chamfered three-light windows with labels. Above, there are late 18th-century twelve-pane sash windows. A lean-to on the south side contains a plain boarded door set within a heavy frame, sheltered by a timber-bracketed hood. Mullioned windows are found on the north side, including one with ovolo mouldings. The interior was not inspected.
