Description

The Gillet monument, located in the churchyard 17 metres southwest of the tower of the Church of Saint Andrew, is an altar tomb with an obelisk dating from the late 18th century. It is made of Ham stone and features a moulded base, a cuboid plinth with a moulded cap, and a step leading up to a squat panelled obelisk. The monument commemorates Francis Gillet, Gent., who died in 1792, along with other family members.
