Description
22 Queen Square is a house in a row, built in the 18th century and altered in the early 19th century. It features red brick in Flemish bond with a random rubble plinth and a shallow pitch clay tile roof with coped verges. The gable ends have rebuilt brick stacks. The house has a double pile plan and stands two storeys tall with three bays. All window openings have keystones, with 12-pane sash windows on the first floor and 16-pane sash windows on the ground floor. The central door, dating from the early 19th century, has moulded panels and is sheltered by a pentice porch supported by shaped brackets.
