Description
The Dorothea Day monument is a memorial slab located in the churchyard, about 5 meters east of the Church of St. Vigor. It is dated 1811 and commemorates Dorothea Day. The memorial features a railed enclosure made of wrought-iron railings, each topped with a spear cap and corner urn finials, standing on a plain freestone kerb. The area enclosed by the railings is slabbed at ground level, with a central slab that has incised lettering. This monument is included mainly for its group value with the Church of St. Vigor.
