Description
Whitelackington House, formerly known as The Old Vicarage, is a detached house that dates from the early 19th century and was originally the vicarage. It is constructed of local stone that is rendered and colourwashed, topped with a hipped Welsh slate roof featuring a wide eaves overhang and rendered chimney stacks. The building is designed in a villa style and consists of two storeys with a layout of three bays by three bays. It has a plinth and features sash windows in plain openings, with 16-pane windows above and below, complemented by semi-circular arched 'Y'-traceried overlights. A notable feature is the projecting porch at the second lower bay, which is supported by Tuscan columns and has a plain entablature, a flat roof, and Gothic arched-light infill panels surrounding the entrance door. The interior has not been seen.
