Description
Talbot Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 18th century, which was refronted in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of coursed and squared Doulting stone with a plain tile roof and brick stacks. The building has an 'L' plan and is two storeys high, featuring three bays on the main front and one bay in a gabled wing. The windows are 2 and 3-light ovolo moulded stone mullions, although the left bay has 20th-century glazed doors on the ground floor. Above the first-floor gable window, there is a plaque displaying a hound crest. The main entrance has a chamfered stone door opening with a 20th-century three-panelled door. The rear of the farmhouse has mullion windows with 2, 3, and 4 lights, and a catslide roof.
