Description

This listing describes a pair of gate piers located on the roadside at Cranmore Hall, dating from the 17th century. The piers are tall and made of ashlar stone, featuring cornices and topped with carved griffins. One of the piers was repaired around 1983. Locally, these piers are known as the "Cat and Dog Piers."
