Description

Knoyle Cottage is an 18th-century cottage constructed from roughly coursed rubble Doulting stone. It features a double Roman clay tile gabled roof with a coped left-hand end and brick chimney stacks at either end. The cottage has a two-storey façade with five windows and a central entrance. The entrance consists of a four-panel door set in a stone frame that includes an expressed keystone and an edge-moulded flat stone hood slab supported by carved brackets. The windows are 16-pane sash types set in bead-moulded stone frames.
