Description

Vanity Park is a house dating from the 16th and 17th centuries, with later alterations. It is constructed of rubble Doulting stone, with stone slates covering the gabled roof. The front features two gables, one small and one large, with a square ashlar chimney stack featuring a moulded cap on the larger gable. The house has a 4-window front, arranged over two storeys. A central stone door frame, stop-moulded, contains a 4-centred arch within a square-headed frame, and has a dripmould above. The door is 6-panelled, with the two upper panels glazed. There are two-light, 12-pane sash windows from the 19th century in plain stone frames, retaining original dripmoulds and relieving arches above.
