Description

Greystones is a house dating from the mid-17th century. It is constructed of limewashed rubble stone and features a plain clay tile gabled roof with copings. The right-hand end has an ashlar stone chimney stack, while the left-hand end has a brick chimney stack. The building is two stories high and has a three-window front. Originally, there was a central entrance, which has now been replaced by a window, with an entrance located on the right-hand side. The door is made of vertical boards and has a lapped design. The windows are two-light moulded stone mullioned frames, fitted with 19th-century wooden casements that have two and three panes. There is a weathered string course at the first-floor level.
