Description

Middle House is an early 19th-century house in a terrace, altered in 1985. It is constructed of red brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with a plain clay tile roof extended to the left to adjoin No. 4. The roof has coped verges, and there is a brick stack at the right gable end and another at the junction with No. 4. The house has a double-pile plan and forms the right-hand portion of a central two-unit block within a four-unit terrace. It is two storeys high, with three bays, and is butt-jointed to the left with No. 4. The house has late 20th-century pivoted windows, a central 20th-century door, and a plain glass fanlight. It is included on the list only for group value, due to alterations to the windows.
