Description
This building is a stable that has been converted into a barn, dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed from roughly coursed, random rubble Doulting stone and features a triple Roman clay tile hipped roof. The barn is two stories high with five bays and has a three-window frontage along with a central entrance. There is a pair of vertical boarded doors set within a plain chamfered stone frame, and above these, a circular pitching eye with a stop-chamfered stone frame is located on the first floor. The first floor also includes two-light stop-chamfered stone mullioned windows that have internal shutters. The structure is supported by 'A'-frame trusses, with the first floor resting on roughly chamfered beams.
