Description
West Farm House is a farmhouse dating from around 1600. It is constructed of rubble with a double Roman tile roof and features brick stacks at the ends. The building has a "T"-plan layout and includes a winder staircase located in the north-west corner. It stands two storeys high and has three bays. The windows are made of stone with ovolo moulding, consisting of two- and three-light configurations, with 19th-century casement infills and angled labels above the ground floor windows. A central gabled porch features an ogee moulded door opening, built-in benches, and traces of a window opening on the right side, along with a plank door. Inside, the left ground floor room has a moulded cross beam ceiling, while the kitchen wing at the rear showcases deep chamfered beams.
