House, now part of the Rose and Crown Public House, 19 St Mary Street (qv). Early/mid C18. Flemish-bond brick, stone keystones and cills, steep-pitched pantile roof with brick stack to left gable end. 3 storeys; symmetrical 3-window range to upper floors. Double-depth plan. C20 windows, 6/6-pane sashes to the upper floors and concrete lintels to wide casements to the ground floor. The only external entrance is to the far right which has a gauged brick arch to a tall opening. INTERIOR: the first-floor front room has raised-and-fielded panels to shutters and window seats and a coved cornice.
