Description

The granary, located about 50 metres north of Chipley Park, dates from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and has no roof. The building consists of a single cell over a basement. The north front features a square-headed doorway above two semicircular-headed openings, with three openings on the returns and two on the south front. At the time of the survey in February 1985, the granary was overgrown with ivy and in poor condition, but it remains an attractive little building.
