Description
The structure is an arbor located to the south-east of Ammerdown House, designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens around 1901, although the piers likely date back to the 17th century. It features ashlar piers with moulded caps and ball finials. A semi-circular wall made of coursed and squared rubble connects the piers at the rear. This information was noted in Country Life on February 16, March 2, and March 9, 1929.
