Description
The lamp post opposite No. 4 Keyford Terrace was constructed between 1901 and 1904 by the art-metal firm of Singers. It features a cast iron standard with a crook designed to suspend a lamp. The crook is adorned with art-nouveau style ornamentation. This lamp post has been adapted for town lighting, representing an early provincial example of electrification.
