Description
No. 33 is a house dating to about 1820. It is constructed of incised stucco with a tarred slate roof, stepped stone copings, and brick stacks to the gable ends. The house has a double-depth plan with a rear wing to the left. It is two storeys high, with a symmetrical three-window front. The front door is a six-panel design, with a fanlight featuring radial glazing bars, set in a plain surround to a semicircular arch. Above the door is a six/eight-pane sash window, also without a surround. The windows to either side are eight/eight-pane sashes. The interior of the house has not been inspected. In front of the house, a Ham Hill stone plinth supports delicate, spear-headed railings; a working gate has long and short railings, and a higher rough ashlar wall with Ham Hill stone copings connects the late 19th-century rear wing of the house to the railings.
