Description
This late 18th-century townhouse, possibly now a shop, is situated on the north side of High Street in Yeovil. The building is constructed of brick, which has been colourwashed, and has a plain clay tiled roof. A brick chimney stack is located on the left-hand side. It is three storeys high and originally had two bays. A modern shopfront now fills the entire width of the ground floor. The two first-floor windows contain 20th-century joinery in plain openings. The second floor has two nine-light sash windows. A small stone cornice sits above the windows, with a low stone parapet above that. The interior remains unseen. The building is listed for its contribution to the group value of High Street and The Borough.
