Description
The artlet monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, 15 meters southeast of the east end of the Church of St. Aldhelm. It dates from 1689 and is made of dressed stone. The tomb is a massive low oblong structure consisting of four slabs, with a large slab top that is moulded around the outer edge. There is an inscription on the southern side, although it is partially decayed.
