Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century, with some alterations from the late 19th century. It is constructed from coursed and squared rubble and features a hipped double-span roof covered in asbestos slate. The garden front has two storeys and an attic, with five bays that include two and three-light stone-mullioned and transomed windows. There is a 16-pane sash window in a stone architrave to the right on the ground floor. The door is located in the fourth bay from the left and is accessed via an ashlar porch with a cornice and pilasters, featuring a six-panelled door and stone steps with a stone strapwork handrail.
The elevation facing the farmyard has seven bays, with two-light stone-mullioned and transomed windows, as well as some iron casements with quadrants. There is a first-floor band and two door openings: one is in a 20th-century gabled porch, while the other has a plank door with transom lights.
