Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from around 1600, with alterations made in the 18th and 19th centuries. It is constructed of coursed lias stone and features a thatched roof with end brick stacks. The building has two storeys and consists of four bays. The windows are three-light casements with square-paned leaded lights, wooden lintels, and iron quadrants. The eaves rise to form tonnets over the first-floor windows. There is a door opening in the third bay, which has a plank door adorned with ornamental iron hinges. At the rear, there is a thatched wing. On the right side, there is a double-Roman tiled lean-to that includes two three-light wooden-mullioned windows and a door opening with a plank door. The interior is rich, featuring two rooms on the ground floor with elaborately moulded panelled ceilings and two fireplaces with broad wooden brassumers.
