Description

This barn, located adjacent to the north of Church Cottage, is likely from the early 19th century, although its core may be older. It is constructed of random rubble and features a pantile roof with the ridge running at right angles to the front. The front gable has a coped verge supported by kneelers. A large semi-circular-headed central door opening is framed by a dressed stone surround, which includes an emphasized keystone and paired plank doors. The barn is primarily noted for its group value with nearby structures.
