Stables, coach house, barn and closing wall with gatepiers. Late C18. The group is composed of a main west range flanked by north and south ranges around a cobbled courtyard with wall and gate piers on east side. West range (coach house): brick, English bond, Westmorland slate roof. 2 storeys, 2 first-floor windows. 4 segmental arches with brick piers to ground floor, stone band above. First-floor windows each have 3 pointed lights in a square frame. Central clock tower projects as a dormer with wooden louvred lantern above. Hipped roof and end stacks. South range (stables): sandstone rubble with brick, stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays, with 1-storey, l-bay block to left. Stables entered through 4 board doors, one with window over; sash with glazing bars in flush wood frame to bay 3. Board door with pigeon holes first floor, centre. Interior: central door opens into stable with 3 original stalls. North range (barn): limestone quoins, sandstone and brick rubble, Westmorland slate roof. 2 storeys, 2 bays. Central double board doors under relieving arch in headers. 2 boarded openings under eaves which have been raised in brick. Ashlar gable copings. East courtyard walls: limestone, approximately 1.5 metres high with central entrance flanked by square piers with projecting band and restored ball finials.
